Abstract

Pakistan and Iran are part of strategically most significant geography of the world. Both countries share historic cultural-religious ties, yet, the true potential of bilateral relations hasn't been achieved at a strategic level due to multiple domestic regional, and global issues. This paper focuses on these issues, which have been dominating foreign policy choices both in Islamabad and Tehran for 14 years. To comprehend the current situation, complex dynamics of these relations and a way forward this historic appraisal will help understand future prospects of revival of these bilateral relations at the strategic level.
